GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE - VERCORS INTENSE

Nature Tourism Accommodation in the heart of the Vercors Natural Park.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all rentals and options offered by Vercors Intense, a company that is part of the Osmi Résilience ecosystem, registered under SIREN number: 928 419 357 and located at 2830 route de l'Échauda 26420 Vassieux-en-Vercors (hereinafter referred to as "Hosts").

Each traveler (hereinafter referred to as ""Traveler"") acknowledges having read these general conditions before booking a stay.

Any reservation implies acceptance of the T&Cs. The general terms and conditions of sale are made available to Travelers in PDF format when booking and can be sent upon request. The applicable general terms and conditions of sale are those in force on the date of booking the stay.

DETAILS OF THE SERVICE AND POSSIBLE OPTIONS

The service includes the provision of one or more nature tourism accommodations, and access to the common areas (kitchen, dining room and toilets) in the main house of the place.

Arrival times are from 3 p.m. and departures are until 11 a.m. at the latest.

Descriptions of each chalet are available online on the website www.vercors-intense.com .

We provide bed linen for our guests. However, towels are not provided.

The kitchen is equipped with: hotplates, a gas oven, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a toaster, dishes, pots and pans, kitchen utensils.

Condiments: oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, sugar are also provided for the duration of the stay.

The dining room is equipped with large tables, a television and board games.

The toilets are equipped with toilets, showers and sinks.

Outside you will find three (3) large wooden tables with benches, as well as a barbecue to enjoy the sunny days.

Optionally, the following may be offered:

- Breakfast and meals ordered from a partner caterer.

- Snowshoe rental.

- Possibility of doing activities with sled dogs in all seasons with La Meute du Vercors .

These additional services must be agreed with the Hosts when booking and must be paid in addition on site on the day of arrival.

RESERVATION TERMS

The Traveler reserves his stay on the website www.vercors-intense.com .

First, the Traveler chooses the dates of their stay and then provides their personal information and special requests.

Then, the Traveler accepts ""the terms and conditions of the reservation"" as well as ""the privacy policy and gives his consent for the collection of information concerning him"", by checking the box provided for this purpose.

The Traveler will then receive a confirmation email containing practical information relating to their stay.

The accommodation will be taken possession of on the date chosen when ordering.

The price of reservations is indicated in euros and includes all charges (electricity, water and heating) as well as tourist tax and Value Added Tax (VAT).

PRICES & PAYMENT OF THE RESERVATION

Each chalet in Vercors Intense has its own price depending on the number of beds and the level of comfort offered.
Payment for the reservation is made only on site, either by credit card, check, transfer or cash.

CAUTION

The deposit amount is 250 euros and is held ""as a loan"" on the bank card during online prepayment.

The amount of damage caused and/or unpaid services will be debited from this deposit.

If the damage caused or unpaid services during the stay exceed the amount of the deposit, it will be up to the Hosts and Travelers to

agree on how to settle the amounts related to damage caused or unpaid services.

INTERNAL RULES

1. Use of premises
   The Traveler is responsible for all damage caused by him, and bears all costs incurred by this damage and/or by the non-compliance with the internal regulations described below. In this case, the Hosts reserve the right to intervene if necessary and to take any appropriate measures against the Traveler.
   The Traveler will enjoy his unusual accommodation in a peaceful manner and will make good use of it, in accordance with the purpose of the premises. The Traveler has the obligation to ensure that the peace and quiet of the neighborhood is not disturbed by the actions of the tenant or the family.
   Upon departure, the Traveler agrees to return the rental as clean as he found it upon arrival. He must take away his recyclable and non-recyclable trash (containers are located on the Echaudat road just before Camping des Pins).
   All equipment must be returned clean and put back in the place it was in when you entered the accommodation.
   The Host reserves the right to refuse accommodation to a Traveler who is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, narcotics or medication that could impair his vigilance and behavior. In this case, the Traveler's contract will be terminated without any recourse or refund.

   
   

2. Capacity, minors, animals
   A maximum capacity is set per chalet (from 2 to 5 people). The number of people must not under any circumstances exceed the planned capacity or the number confirmed at the time of booking. Otherwise, the Hosts reserve the right to terminate the contract and no refund will be made.
   Any minor must be accompanied by his or her legal representative. In case of doubt, the Hosts reserve the right to request proof of identity and to cancel the stay if the minor is not accompanied by his or her legal representative.

   Pets are allowed in our nature accommodations but not in the common areas to respect everyone's comfort.

   
   

3. Safety instructions
   A flashlight is provided to Travelers in each chalet so that they can move around safely at night. The paths leading to the accommodations are marked with terminals and solar spotlights so that Travelers are not in the dark when they move around.
   Please do not:
   - Throw anything outside the chalets.
   - Smoking in the chalets. However, you can smoke on the outside areas. A metal box is provided for this purpose (ashtray). It is forbidden to throw cigarette butts on the ground.
   - Consume or be under the influence of drugs or narcotics during your stay.
   -Cover the heaters and leave them on when ventilating (opening the windows and door) the chalets.
   Children are the sole responsibility of their parents and legal guardians during their stay.

   Access to the boiler room is strictly prohibited for safety and insurance reasons. For your barbecues, we ask you to use the dead wood available in the forests around the place.

   
   

4. Parking, parking and access to the chalet

   A car park is provided for parking vehicles. This is located in the courtyard of the Guests and is made available, at no extra cost, for the vehicle(s) of Travelers for the duration of their stay.

   For larger and/or longer vehicles, an additional parking area is also available and is strongly recommended.

   Luggage will be transported by Travelers to the accommodation or with the help of Hosts if necessary.

CONDITIONS OF CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION OF STAY

Any modification or cancellation of stay must be requested in writing directly by email to the following address contact@vercors-intense.com .
When the cancellation or modification occurs more than 7 days before arrival, the Hosts will reimburse the entire stay to the Travelers.
If this cancellation or modification occurs between 6 and 3 days before arrival at the premises, the Hosts will keep 50% of the amount of the prepayment made when the Traveler made the reservation.
If this cancellation or modification occurs less than 3 days before arrival, the Host retains the entire amount of the prepayment made when the Traveler made the reservation.

The Traveler wishing to cancel or modify his reservation and not being able to be reimbursed 100% in view of the deadline, has the possibility of modifying the dates of his stay with the agreement of the Hosts provided that the new stay can be dated within a maximum period of 30 days.
These cancellation or modification conditions also apply to optional services.

FORCE MAJEURE

In the event of termination of this contract by the Host before entering the premises, for any reason whatsoever except in cases of force majeure (mentioned below), the Host will return to the Traveler the amount of the deposit received. This refund will be sent to the Traveler by transfer within 15 days of notification of the termination.

In the event of force majeure or any difficulty beyond the control of the Hosts preventing the rental of nature accommodations, due to bad weather (heavy rain, storms, strong winds, snow), acts of war, total or partial strike or social conflicts, terrorism, acts of war, decisions of a legal or administrative authority, fires, floods, civil unrest, earthquakes, natural disasters, illness, epidemic diseases, quarantines, accidents, power and internet outages or other events beyond the control of both Parties, the Hosts agree to postpone the stay, free of charge, subject to availability, within two years following the initial reservation date.

In the event of a disagreement between the Hosts and the Travelers, the stay will be cancelled and the deposit retained. No compensation may be claimed.

TERMINATION FOR TRAVELER'S BREACH

In the event of a contractual breach by the Traveler, the Hosts reserve the right to terminate the contract.

When the termination of the contract by the Hosts occurs during the rental period, it must be duly justified (failure to pay for the stay and services, bad check issued by the tenant, deterioration of the premises, complaints from the neighborhood, non-compliance with the internal regulations, etc.).

The Hosts reserve the right to retain the amount of the prepayment under the conditions specified in the paragraph entitled ""DEPOSIT"" and to charge the amount necessary for the preparation if this exceeds the amount of the prepayment.

Whatever the reason for termination, the full amount of the stay remains acquired by the Guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Hosts are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to Travelers' personal belongings, whether left in nature accommodations, in common areas or in parking lots.

A key is given to Travelers to close the chalets and prevent theft during absences.

INSURANCE

The Traveler taking the accommodation is responsible for all damages occurring as a result of his actions. He must be insured against rental risks (fire, water damage) and civil liability during his stay and have insured his vehicle, if applicable.

He must therefore check whether his main residence contract provides for the holiday extension (vacation rental).

Otherwise, he must contact his insurance company and request an extension of the guarantee or take out a special contract under the ""VACATION"" clause.

Our Vercors Intense establishment is insured with XXX.

PRIVACY POLICY

The personal data of Travelers completed when booking on the website www.vercors-intense.com are kept by the Hosts for the duration necessary for the execution of the hosting services and for a period of five years in an archive database to allow the Hosts to defend themselves in the event of a dispute.

Unless Travelers object, Hosts may retain their contact details to carry out prospecting operations with companies in the Osmi Resilience ecosystem.

The Travelers concerned have a right of access, rectification, erasure and portability of data as well as a right of opposition, limitation of the processing of data carried out by the Hosts, depending on the legal basis on which said processing is based. If the Traveler wishes to exercise his rights, he must contact the Hosts at the following address: contact@vercors-intense.com .

In the event of no response within 15 days or an unsatisfactory response, the person concerned has the option of contacting the CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr/).

APPLICABLE LAW, DISPUTES OR CLAIMS

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to French law. For all disputes arising from the execution or interruption of this contract, the two (2) Parties will endeavour to settle their differences amicably, before any referral to the competent courts.

Any Traveler meeting the definition of consumer or non-professional within the meaning of the Consumer Code is informed that he or she may in any event resort free of charge to conventional mediation in accordance with Article L. 612-1 of the Consumer Code or to any other method of alternative dispute resolution in the event of disputes.

By accepting these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, Travelers are aware that the stay takes place in the heart of nature, with the hazards that this can cause: variable weather, presence of insects, birds and small mammals nearby and that it is also possible to encounter them inside the accommodation.
